At Tennessee Clean Slate, we believe every home — and every family — has different needs, which is why every cleaning session is fully personalized to you.All clients book their own appointments directly through our online booking system. We offer weekly, biweekly, monthly, and one-time cleaning options to fit your schedule and lifestyle.At the time of booking, clients will complete a short intake form and checklist where they can select requested tasks, note special instructions, and highlight their top priorities. This allows each cleaning to be tailored specifically to your home and expectations.Each appointment includes one dedicated cleaner to provide a consistent, personalized experience.After each service, the owner may follow up for feedback to help ensure quality and consistency.Upon booking, clients will also receive a service agreement outlining policies, expectations, and service details, along with a required deposit to reserve the appointment.As a thank-you for supporting our business, clients may receive 10% off their next session for each referral or review shared.Please note: deep cleaning timeframes vary based on home size and condition. On average, small homes may require up to 8 hours, medium homes up to 12 hours, and larger homes up to 16 hours.

How Do I Book a Cleaning
To book a cleaning, click the “Book Here” link on our website. You will first select your service type, followed by the area you would like service in. If you are located within approximately 30 minutes of a listed service area, you may still select that location.
Next, you will choose an available date and time, complete the required intake forms, and submit a 15% deposit to secure your appointment.Once your booking is confirmed, your appointment is officially reserved.

Can I add extra tasks on the day of my cleaning?
Yes, you may request additional tasks during your appointment, but they will be completed only if time allows within your reserved time block. You can also add on additional time if the company approves it but availability may be unavailable.
Do I need to tidy or pick up before my cleaning?
We recommend that clients pick up excess clutter before their appointment so we can focus on deep and detailed cleaning. While we do not require a fully tidy home, surfaces, floors, and main areas should be reasonably accessible so we can complete as much cleaning as possible within your reserved time. If you want tidying up to be apart of your service that is completely fine as well! All cleans are personalized to your needs.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
Yes, we bring all necessary non-toxic cleaning products and supplies. However, clients may be asked to provide certain items such as a vacuum, broom, or toilet brush to help prevent cross-contamination between homes. If you request any specific products you may be asked to provide those specific items!
What happens if I’m not satisfied with my cleaning?If you have any concerns about your service, please notify us within 24 hours of your appointment. We will review the issue and determine the best resolution. Refunds are not guaranteed.Can I reschedule my appointment?
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment at anytime. However you will be charged the deposit fee of 15% of original pricing 7+ Days before service, 30% of original pricing 3-6 days before service, 50% of original pricing same day-2 days before booking. Deposits will not be carried over to a new session.
Will the same cleaner come every time?We do our best to provide consistency with the same cleaner when possible. However, due to scheduling, availability, or operational needs, cleaner assignments are not guaranteed.What locations do you service?Nashville, Clarksville, Murfreesboro, Mt Juliet, Springfield, Chattanooga & surrounding areas up to 30 min. When you go on our site to book you will choose the location or within 30 min of that area for that areas calendar.How far in advance should I book?We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for preferred dates and times. Availability may be limited during peak days and seasons. However we only open our calendar dates for as far as we currently are booking out! So always watch our instagram stories for updates.Can I trust my cleaner in my home?Yes. All cleaners working with Tennessee Clean Slate are expected to follow professional standards, respect client privacy, and adhere to company policies.What if I have pets?
We are pet-friendly, but pets should be secured if they are not comfortable with strangers or may interfere with cleaning. If the cleaner is not comfortable around animals you will be notified before your session.
Do you work on weekends?Weekend cleanings are available, but they can only be scheduled through private booking or direct approval. Availability is limited and not always shown on the online booking calendar.Do I need to be home for my cleaning?No, you do not need to be home during your cleaning as long as we are provided with clear access instructions prior to your appointment. Many clients choose to be away while we clean for convenience and privacy. However you are also welcome to be home as well! Just be mindful that the time starts when the cleaner arrives so any distractions may interfere with cleaning performance.What if I’m allergic or sensitive to fragrance?We primarily use non-toxic cleaning products and may use essential oils for a light, natural scent. However, if you are sensitive or prefer no fragrance, you can easily opt out. Just let us know before your appointment, and we will ensure no essential oils are used in your home.Do you offer same-day or emergency cleanings?Same-day or emergency cleanings may be available depending on schedule openings. These must be requested directly and are not always guaranteed.What areas do you NOT clean?We do not handle biohazard materials such as mold infestations, bodily fluids, pests, or hazardous waste, inside fireplaces. These require specialized services.What if something is missed during my cleaning?Please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment so we can review the concern. We will determine the appropriate resolution.Do you move heavy furniture?No, we do not move heavy furniture or appliances due to safety and liability reasons. We clean around accessible areas.Do you clean rental properties or Airbnb homes?No, we do not offer Airbnb or short-term rental cleaning services. We focus exclusively on residential home cleaning for private clients.Are you licensed, insured, and bonded?Yes, Tennessee Clean Slate, LLC is fully insured and bonded. All cleaners and subcontractors are required to meet company standards and carry appropriate coverage for the protection of both clients and homes.who do I contact during my clean if I have questions or concerns?If you have any questions or concerns during your cleaning, you can contact Tennessee Clean Slate, LLC directly through the contact information provided on our website. We will assist you as quickly as possible while your service is in progress.How long have you been in business?Tennessee Clean Slate is the owner’s third cleaning business location, and the owner has over 17 years of experience in the cleaning industry.How do I leave a tip and how do I pay? Can I pay with cash?All service payments are processed automatically by card on file on the day of your cleaning before the service begins. Cash and checks are not accepted for service payments.Tips are optional and may be given directly to your cleaner in cash, or sent via Venmo or Square if preferred.Do you guarantee your arrival time?We provide scheduled appointment times, but arrival may vary slightly due to traffic, prior appointments, or unforeseen delays. We allow a 30 min grace period after appointment starts for our cleaners but we will notify the client!What if my cleaner takes a break during my appointment?Cleaners may take short breaks during longer appointments. If a break is needed, your cleaning may run slightly over the scheduled time. Clients will be notified if this happens.Please keep in mind that cleaners are human and may need time to rest during extended sessions. For longer bookings, such as 6- and 8-hour services, scheduled break time may be included within the appointment structure to ensure quality and consistency throughout the clean.What if I want something specific cleaned that isn’t listed?Special requests can be made at booking as long as they are approved by the company.Do you offer discounts for recurring clients?Occasionally, promotions may be offered for recurring services. Clients who receive any discounts will obtain a code from the company to use at checkout.What if I need to cancel due to an emergency?All cancellations are subject to our standard cancellation policy regardless of reason, but we may review exceptions on a case-by-case basis.What if I have areas I don’t want cleaned?No problem. Simply note those areas on your intake form or leave instructions for your cleaner prior to the appointment.Will my cleaner bring a ladder?For safety reasons, clients may be asked to provide a step stool or ladder if higher areas need to be reached.Do you clean homes with children?Yes. We proudly serve families and use non-toxic cleaning practices to create a healthier home environment. Children may be present during clean with parent or guardian supervision.What if I have sentimental or fragile items?Please notify us of any fragile, valuable, or sentimental items before your appointment. While we take great care in every home, we recommend securing irreplaceable items whenever possible.Can I book a one-time cleaning?
Yes. We offer one-time cleanings. You may book as little or as many cleans as you’d like. However to be eligible as a recurring client and receive any recurring client discounts you must routinely receive weekly, biweekly or monthly cleans.
Why do you charge by time instead of by room?Every home is different. Our time-block system allows us to customize each cleaning based on the home’s condition, priorities, and your specific needs.What if I have a gate code, alarm, or special entry instructions?Please provide all access information before your appointment to ensure a smooth arrival and avoid delays.What makes Tennessee Clean Slate different?We focus on personalized service, non-toxic cleaning practices, attention to detail, and creating a calm, healthier home environment. Every appointment is tailored to the client’s priorities rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.What if my home needs more time than I booked?If additional cleaning time is needed and the schedule allows, we may be able to extend the appointment for an additional charge. Otherwise, priority areas will be completed first within the reserved time block.Do you clean around sleeping babies or people working from home?Yes. Please let us know ahead of time so we can do our best to work around naps, meetings, and quiet areas.Can I book a cleaning as a gift for someone else?Yes! Cleaning services can make a wonderful gift. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a cleaning for a friend or family member.Will my cleaner call me when they arrive or leave?If requested, we can provide arrival or completion updates. A quality checkup will be asked after your session!Do you clean homes with smokers?No we do not for the safety and health of our staffWhat if my cleaner gets sick or has an emergency?If a cleaner is unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling/refund options.What cleaners do you use?At Tennessee Clean Slate, we use a variety of non-toxic and lower-toxicity cleaning products to help create a cleaner, healthier home environment. Product selections may vary by cleaner and service needs, but commonly used brands include Branch Basics, ATTITUDE, truly free, thieves, blueland, force of nature, Molly’s Suds, and Dr. Bronner’s.We may also use simple household ingredients such as baking soda or vinegar and, when requested, essential oils for a light natural scent. If you have allergies, fragrance sensitivities, or specific product preferences, please let us know before your appointment and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

PaymentsAll services must be paid according to the agreed pricing at the time of booking. Invalid payment methods may result in paused or canceled service. Deposits are required for securing your date.LiabilityTennessee Clean Slate is not responsible for:* Pre-existing damage or wear in the home

We take great care in every home, but accidental damage must be reported within 24 hours.Right to Refuse ServiceWe reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for unsafe, unsanitary, or disrespectful environments.Cancellation & Scheduling PolicyWe value your time and ask that you value ours.A 15% non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings and is applied toward your total service cost.Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled appointment will forfeit the 15% deposit.Cancellations made 3–6 days prior will be charged 30% of the original service price (before discounts), including the deposit.
